"Room 309 was comfy and spacious for what I needed to attend Bute pride .
Only negatives despite it been a pride weekend on the Isle of Bute was one of the staff who was in his 60s with glasses gave me an intense stare and look of disapproval during my stay at the Victoria hotel
Lager cans as rubbish left in a wardrobe in room 309 and not enough milk and sugar in the room to make a coffee .
I’d rate the hotel 6 out of 10 score wise as it was nice but dated in room 309 and I spotted a few damp patches and maintenance issues that needed fixed
Staff bar one individual were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was fabulous "
"A lovely, Victorian, grand hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Great staff, food, room and view. A very quiet nights sleep, even though the hotel was busy. We'd definitely return. Thank you to all the staff."
"Always a warm welcome, comfy beds, very quiet and peaceful. Staff really go the extra mile. Even brought us plates and cutlery for our takeaway. Lovely old place. "
