Great place to stay near Udawalawe Park! The family who runs it are really nice people. Very friendly and helpful. They just opened for the season and are still doing some renovations. The room was clean and comfy. The hotel has a safari truck. Very reasonable price to go on safari with them - much cheaper than the private companies you'll find online. Truck costs 3500 rupees and their driver is a good driver and a pretty good spotter. At the park it costs 7200 rupees for tickets for two...

Front house Sampath, dumindu and sithijaya , sahan, gayantha, Rukshan are awesome, Gave me the best service they could. Foods are delicious 😋, pool was clean and easy access. We were so happy with this property. It is nice, fun, and clean. The perfect spot close to the park for a safari. The staff is very attentive and super nice! The food was fantastic! If you're going to be in the area you would do well to stay at this small, locally owned, experience!
Rating is based on the fact it is a camp. The staff is great, really friendly and take good care of you. They helped with anything we needed. It is a bit hard to find, but they met us on the road and brought us to the camp site. The location is well kept. Since it is a camp, there are bugs, there are reptiles, but the staff do their best to keep them out of your way. The breakfast was great and very peaceful.
