What a delightful motel and such friendly and helpful staff. We were glad we chose this property. It was convenient for walking downtown to the Rugby Museum and lots of shops. The room was well appointed and my husband said it had the most comfortable lounge chair/seating of any property we had been in during our month of travel. Last-minute switch to this hotel from another that was not acceptable. Our expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. Bed was very comfortable, room was very spacious. Small balcony outside. Road noise minimal. Bathroom very large and somewhat spa-like in Its furnishings. TV was good, internet was fast, a/c was working and good! Restaurants within walking distance. Good amount of local info in the room binder.

Brilliant motel. I travel to Palmerston North on a regular basis and this is one of the best motels I have stayed at. Large rooms, comfortable bed, good size kitchen with plenty of crockery. The facility was very neat and clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a bottle of milk for my coffee when we checked in. We opted for the breakfast.
