"There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good.

"I was disappointed that the room had disposable wooden stirrers for drinks rather than teaspoons and that we had to have plastic cups for drinks by the pool although i do understand the safety aspect ( maybe reusable plastic cups could be used?)."

The main lobby/ reception/ restaurant were very nice and the restaurant itself had great food for breakfast and dinner. There isn’t much around the hotel, or we didn’t know much, so we ended up eating at the restaurant multiple times.
