"Clean room and great location, close to a lot of nearby attractions like Fenqi Lake, walking trails, tea tasting and Sakura blossoms (in Feb to March). delicious breakfast with homemade eggs, chicken, mashed potato, fries, porridge, coffee, soy milk, bread, etc. walking distance to a great sunrise spot. I will be thinking of the hot pot dinner, lots of delicious homegrown mountain veggies. Staff are super friendly."

"From the property, you can see the beautiful Alishan famous sunrise. The front yard is very beautiful and well maintained where guests can completely relax and enjoy the mountain view. We highly recommend staying at the First Sun bed and breakfast."

"This was possibly our favorite stay of the trip. It was a little tricky to make it this far with public transit but it was so worth it! The staff of the hotel was so friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The dinner here was delicious. The surrounding area is just so beautiful. "第二次入住 房間很大，很多人在意的熱水問題也很OK，不會有不夠熱的狀況，全日提供。 早餐是清粥小菜，對我們愛吃的人覺得很棒，地瓜粥跟青菜真的好好吃。 會館兩旁都有餐廳，只要餐廳有開的話，基本上晚餐就會好解決。 我們開車到杉林溪約30分鐘左右，對想去溪頭/杉林溪的人，個人覺得地點也蠻適中的。 老闆娘人很好，給我們的遊玩建議很恰當。"

"We had a bad experience finding the registration office. We came in from a different entrance (#2). There was no sign that the registration office is in a complete different building. My poor old mom had difficulty in walking had to waste her energy in going up and downhill with me trying to ask people and looking for the registration place. We only had a difficult time at the beginning. We enjoyed the rest of the staying because the staff were very nice and the food was great. "

"The thermal spas are amazing. Although the outdoor one for us was closed for the two days for cleaning. Overall the hotel outside of the thermal spas is very dated and not the cleanest. we had some holes in linen and it was all a bit grimy. The staff were lovely and the food was great. "

"The room is spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The property is away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but it’s still a walkable distance to the main attractions. It’s uphill to the bus stop and the attractions, but the host will pick up and deliver your luggage to and from the bus stop. They were really nice."
