Staff is great, they do always that extra to help you. Rooms are incredibly spacious, breakfast was soooo good, it is definitely a gem hidden in the beautiful Quetzaltenango. My wife and daughter love the place. I will return soon for sure.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Aviva. Rooms were really great with unique touches. The bed was probably the best I ever had. Great coffee service and lots of little lovely details. We were always addressed by our name and Adam went above and beyond offering advice. Best breakfast by far in the area. Still a little of the beaten path.

This hotel is really unique and really feels integrated with the nature around it. It was very clean, comfortable, and had great views. But the best part about our experience there was the staff. The manager was so helpful and kind. I had mistakenly booked for the wrong date and booked an extra day (not sure how I managed that). The manager completely took care of us and not only prepared a room for us, but she sorted things out with Expedia so I was reimbursed for the extra booked night and...
Fue una maravilla quedarme aquí. Del momento en que llegué hasta que me fui, las personas del hotel me trataron de forma increíble. Muy atentos con el esguince que tenía, muy amigables, y pacientes con todas las preguntas que les hacía (era mi primera vez en Xela). El hotel es muy limpio, la cama cómoda, y es tiene un ambiente bastante calmadito. Descansé muy bien. Y por la cercanía al parque central, pude ver varias cosas, aún con mi pie malito.

This hotel is a little treasure. Super clean. Very new (or perhaps recently remodeled) and with nice rooms with hot water. Attention to detail is obvious regarding construction and the staff is typical with wonderful Guatemalan service and courtesy. It’s a little mansion with marble and nice couches to sit in the common area where you can chat with family. Pricing is very reasonable.

Absolutely stellar views, excellent staff, easy to communicate with. Their website offers FAQ’s which are extremely helpful in figuring things out. I drove to Panajachel and they booked a boat for me late night for my arrival and were excellent at communicating where to go, what to do, etc.
