"Overall, the stay was great. No problems with checking in or out. The door worked exactly as they instructed via text message. Clean, modern rooms. I loved the option of the sauna and the gym. We used both. The little homey touches throughout the property were nice. The board with the guests' dreams was cute. The only problem was that the hot water option on the fountain in the lobby was not working. I had to go across the street to McDonald's for hot water."

"We stayed at Hickory House Inn for our 9-year anniversary and had such a wonderful experience! The town is absolutely charming, and everyone we met was so warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Sister Gilmary Room, which was spotless, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. The shower had great water pressure—always a bonus! Breakfast was phenomenal—delicious, homemade, and clearly made with care. Shawn was an incredible host—so kind, attentive, and fun to chat with. He really made us feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would love to try one of the other rooms next time. Highly recommend Hickory House Inn for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"
