"What an amazing hotel, we had a two day stay in the Venetian Suite, a lovely room. Greyfriars is a beautiful hotel with a chilled vibe. On our second night, (after our wedding) we walked in and the staff had filled the suite with rose petals and some lovely chocolates. We live around 30 minutes away but will be staying again for a date night or two 😉"

"Had a lovely stay at the Bull. We arrived early but the chap on reception let us check in early as the room was ready. The room was lovely with plenty of old world character, a comfy bed and a fantastic powerful and easy to set shower. The breakfast was very fine quality. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough which was delicious. You can also help yourself to cereals, toast and pastries and teas, coffee and juice. I would definitely stay here again. "

"I couldn't fault this stay (aside from paying 8 pounds for parking on top of the room). The room was good value for money, excellently appointed with comfortable beds and a lovely modern bathroom. It was also very quiet in spite of being near to a main road. The hotel has a modern feel and feels fresh and bright. The staff were superb - all very friendly and welcoming. A big shout out to Holly who was exceedingly warm, kind and helpful. The pool and gym were great - pool was warm, not busy,...
