"Loved staying here, it felt like a posh youth hostel, we never had to wait to use the bathroom and while it was basic, everything was clean and comfortable. Lovely location, breakfast was in a hotel run by the same people in the town which was a 5 min walk away but not a problem at all, the breakfast itself was great (lots of vegan options) and the staff were so friendly. "Note - we stayed at the anneks. Not sure if any rooms are at the actual castle. However, you have full access to the majestic house and garden. The 3-course meal we had was also very nice. Highly recommended."
