Paul was great! Very Hekpful! The room was large, though a little outdated, but certainly adquate, clean, and comfortablem with a small kitchen. Quite close to the water front and shopping. One could exist without a vehicle. Would highly recommend this location..
Such a beautiful property- we especially loved our gourmet breakfast on the balcony overlooking the bay and being able to easily walk into town. Peter and Greg were very accommodating hosts - we so enjoyed our time in Russell.
Everything about the Sanctuary Palms is first class.The bathroom was spotless, the shower and bath were great, aesthetically top notch, up to date, and perfect in use. The bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the balcony, the view, the convenience, the access: tens around!
Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
Easy check in as prepaid room. We were staying a few nights, we dragged up our bags and unpacked everything, loaded up the fridge etc. it was a little stuffy so turned on the air conditioning in the bedroom but there was no power on the unit, no lights coming on, same thing with the one in the living room. I went to the front desk to complain and they sent me back to my room with someone from the front desk, he just confirmed they were not working, we unfortunately had to pack up and move...
The stay was fantastic. The new owners were very friendly and eager to please! They were very helpful and the room was spotless. The grounds were nice and right next to Bush with wild kiwi. We even saw one running through the camp grounds. There is a playground for older kids as well. Hightly recommended.
The rooms were clean and spacious, while being located near the center of town near the public dock. Ken was courteous and helpful during check in and out.
Wonderful owners who can't do enough for you. Wonderful apartment, very clean and perfect location. One of the nicest placed we stayed in NEW Zealand. Beds comfortable, nice kitchen facilities. Best place in Paihia in our opinion. Reasonable price also.
