Moana Sands Lagoon Resort - Adults Only

"The hotel was nice enough, just lacking some amenities when comparing the price to others on the island in the same price range. It was nice though to be adults only and be able to relax by the pool"
"This is a great spot right on the beach with the restaurant and bar being very convenient.
The breakfast items supplied were good and plentiful with no question of restocking as and when required.
The room we had was upstairs and overlooking the lagoon. The room was clean, however the decor was a little tired especially the shower. The insect screens need a little attention to prevent insects from accessing the room.
The bed was supper comfortable.
The TV remote didn't work and when we got the TV to work the reception is not so good so it is very hazy, but it was not that important for us.
Restaurant food was great with a good selection and Happy Hour in the bar was fantastic with fabulous cocktails."
"Sane, the villa host was excellent. She was very accommodating and helpful. She also communicated daily about events and happenings for us to do while we stayed on the property."

The 3 bedroom villa we had was quite tidy but on closer inspection was quite dirty, a lot of dust, sand and grim on floors behind and under beds.
Air conditioning unit in the bedroom didn’t really work.
Water filter in kitchen was loose."

"Our 4 night stay at the resort was amazing in all the ways! It was one of the best resorts we have ever been to. The staff welcomed us and knew our names the whole stay and were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and well prepared and the included breakfast had a great variety of options. We had a beachfront bungalow that was private and right on the lagoon. A kayak, paddle board and pedal bikes were at our place and we rented scooters right outside the resort to see the rest of the island. We miss the Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island already!"
"Everything was awesome. Small unit but very clean and updated. Common areas are well-kept and beautiful. Beach is right across the street. Parking on the street is a bit of a drawback, but other than that I recommend this accommodation, and I would definitely stay here again."
"A great location with good happy hours, nice and relaxed and no kids. Made for such a chilled vibe. Lovely staff and the free shuttle to and from Edgewater is a good way to connect the norhh to and west sides of the island. Loved it"
