Shilla Stay Busan Haeundae
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and conveniently located hotel with friendly staff. Their breakfast buffet was a solid deal too, quite affordable for a good spread. The hotel is right across the street from Haeundae beach, and it was easily walkable to tons of local f&b and attractions. Great rate too. Recommend!"
"Everything about our stay was A+. Staff, room, amenities, location, etc. were all fantastic.
I am a 53-year-old divorced dad who travelled with his now 13-year-old daughter for our annual vacation. This was our 8th major Dad-Daughter annual travel adventure together. We were so comfortable, and had so much fun, at Lotte Hotel World.
The not-so-little-anymore gal especially loved the 7-11 in the hotel lobby. When I was a kid, my grandma lived across the street from a small convenience store and, looking back, going there with my brother alone as kids is one of my most cherished childhood rites of passage. My parents used to give us a couple bucks and let us get a treat on our own. I was able to give these same memories to my daughter with that 7-11 after long days of city exploration and fun."
"Property location is 10/10, which is the best part about this hotel. The rooms are extremely tiny, no amenities, the elevator is very slow and requires a long wait most of the time. The breakfast is on the 27th floor which provides nice views, but the selection isn’t great and the coffee machine had the “needs cleaning light” on all week. Coffee was undrinkable. Overall the hotel is okay - location is awesome, but otherwise underwhelming. "
"Tokyo style hotel in Seoul. Positive: Very clean for the price. Negative: Lacks amenities. Mitigant: Buy your own toothbrush, toothpaste, beer, beer food.
The front desk person will tell you to buy from the vending machine, but choices and prices are limited. I bought tooth paste & brush there, but for beer & some nuts, I went around the block to a convenience store instead.
To me this Toyoku was excellent, hence I leave a review, because I value cleanliness above all. I don’t sleep well if it looks or smells bad, but I slept better than last place. For this price, in Gangnam, it’s very clean, hence, one of the best in value."
"Housekeeping is not doing good job of cleaning all of recycled bottles either not picking them up or pick up the wrong thing. They can go for many days not doing it. When they did, they are mistaking and trashing a pair of expensive Birkenstock shoes instead."
