"Worst stay at a resort. Staff are not friendly at all, except for the barman at Sega stage. Everyone else makes it feel like they’re doing you a favor. My wife has a medical condition which we tried to get assistance from the front desk and the guy who’s responded couldn’t be less helpful. He was cold and unhelpful.
The food is tasteless and boring the exact same menu every single night at the buffet. The entertainment was terrible, they literally hired 3 people to dance randomly on stage. The African night has some good parts but ultimately boring. The resort has no fun activities and the sloped beach lacked beach umbrellas so you’re sitting in the open hot sun. The pool has sporadic activities that catered to a much older group over 60s. The resort is away from everything and over an hour from the airport. The minibar is abysmal for the price you pay, a few sodas and water and 1 beer. No snacks no variety. The in room dining has 3 cold sandwich options for food, that’s it. I can’t believe the price for this horrible experience. I’ve stayed in cheaper better run resorts in Mexico, Dominican and the other side of Mauritius. What a disappointment."
"Where can I start! The grounds are stunning, rooms very clean.. staff is absolutely amazing. Food is also top notch at all of the restaurants. The morning buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet is equally amazing although to me just a tad pricey. We stayed in a suite and I can tell you that it was very comfortable. A bit aged but very comfortable. I would recommend this property 100 percent. "

"This hotel and its staff deserve nothing less than a 10/10! The location of this hotel is what sets it apart from most - perfectly situated on the beachfront with the whitest sand and clearest water I have ever seen. The A La Carte dining throughout the day has an exceptional amount of choice and all taste healthy, fresh, and amazing, all whilst being locally sourced. Staff in the hotel could not be more helpful and attentive, especially when dining. Shout out in particular to Med, Rishi and Kenny who made our stay very welcoming. Overall, it is an incredibly good value for money stay for what you get in the hotel and on the doorstep.
Things to improve:
- Restaurant definitely needs some sort of air conditioning for during the day as it gets very warm and uncomfortable the further inside you are. The sea breeze helps when sat closer to the outside.
