The place was very nice, the service was good, the food was delicious, and I was surprised by the hotel overall.

If you have travel plans in this somewhat remote area of Italy you cannot do better than this hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet —friendly staff, some of whom speak very good English. Hotel restaurant is very good for dinner and serves a buffet breakfast too. We arrived late and were very happy with the convenience and quality of the on site restaurant for dinner. Had a great stay. We will definitely stay here again

A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours.

Came to visit family nearby. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spotless. To add icing to the cake (literally) there is a PHENOMENAL bakery attached to the building downstairs.
