"The property was excellent suited for our needs because it was centrally located for our daily trips, without been downtown. The rooms were immaculate, no carpets, excellent bathroom with shower. Nice furniture and TV. But the really outstanding feature of this hotel are its employees: the reception, the restaurant, the room cleaning crew, all always looking to make our stay a very pleasant experience. "Our stay at the Piccolo Grand Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the charming old town of Pizzo, this boutique hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with authentic Italian character. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations — whether it was where to find the best tartufo gelato (hint: it’s nearby!) or the most scenic spots to watch the sunset. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high-end touches — especially the rain shower and incredibly comfortable bed. We had a beautiful balcony with a small view of the sea. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a daily highlight. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and cappuccinos with a view of the Calabrian coast — it’s the kind of morning that makes you want to stay forever. The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. If you’re visiting southern Italy and want a boutique hotel that offers style, service, and soul — Piccolo Grand Hotel is the place. We can’t wait to return!"

"Leaking ceilings onto hallway carpeting. Booked in March for a Sept stay and was given an unacceptable room overlooking a roof when I inquired, they change us to at least a street view. Very hot rooms, was not able to control air-conditioning to be cooler, it was controlled by the front desk.🙄😵‍💫 I will say Patricia at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone at this hotel"
