Nice place! Cute town!

This is my 16th trip to Germany. The Torfhaus Resort rates as one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing. It is in the forest, but close to Altenau, Braunlage and other larger communities. The cottages are in excellent shape with the most modern appliances. Staff is very professional and always on duty. A very nice hotel very different (in a very good way) in relation to the other hotels in the area. It is modern, a nice breakfast and dinner option available in the hotel and in the village are very good restaurant.

Friendly staff, good parking space, clean room.

We stayed here with our daughters family also to attend a wedding near by. Our experience was wonderful. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the dining experience superb. The rooms do not have air conditioning and we need it cool to sleep well but the open windows and fan were enough to be comfortable.

This is a great hotel for a family vacation! Lots to do in the area and there is a buffet for breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly when we checked in.

Great hotel & location in Goslar. Easy walk to the town center. Spacious room with a nice balcony. Wonderful breakfast.
