We stayed during mid September 2019. A bit out of way, but well worth the extra miles to stay in a wonderful old French Chateau. We visited Verdun, Ww1 sites, and positioned ourselves for the drive to Paris airport for a late afternoon flight. The dinner my wife and I split with amazing wines was well worth the $45 euros each. We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Metz Centre and would highly recommend it. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff truly made our stay memorable.
