A terrific location - close to the center of Caen as well as an easy drive to many lovely towns and historic sites. The hotel was quiet and clean and the staff were so friendly and really pleasant to interact with. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The staff were very friendly, we slept in so we couldn't experience the breakfast but the room restaurant looked inviting. The air-conditioning worked very well for the August weather. A very comfortable stay!

This is an original building that was on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 and before, and suffered damage from off shore gun fire from Allied Ships on the day of the assault. The building is now a quaint hotel with a family owned hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we made a visit to all that is available in the area. All provided gave us a relaxing stay.

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is great with a wine and grocery store nearby. we enjoyed our stay here!

The hotel is cheap and cheerful and provides great value for money. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were excellent.

We were happy with this hotel. It's in a residential area, but there is dining & shopping within a 5 minute drive. The size of the room was nice for a French hotel, which tends to be small. We did not eat at the restaurant on site, so cannot comment on that. Wifi did not work well, but it was a good place to stay for a one nighter on a road trip.

Le Grand Hotel Cabourg has a turn of the century ambiance in the public areas, but the rooms are up to date with very chic somewhat Art Deco style furnishings. The location on the boardwalk couldn't be better.

The place is spectacular! We came to France to explore the Normandy area and wanted a stay that was away from hustle and bustle. This place was perfect for us! Beauty both on the inside and outside. Our stay was so special. We immediately felt welcomed and after our four night stay we felt like friends. Damien and Sylvia are the most generous and kind hosts. They made delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners for us, they gave us a ride to the sea and back and they were willing to grant any...

Nice people. Clean room. Modern. Spacious. WiFi a bit of a problem due to placement of transmitter several floors below the room in a concrete closet--not very well thought out.
