"Hotel is located in the “jungle” It’s better to have a car because to the city is 1 hour walking. On the other hand your “private” beach is just in front of the hotel access the road and crossing short distance in “jungle” 2 minutes from your room. The beach is wild, but empty with big waves, warm water also during the rain. The owners are super friendly and kind. They prepare breakfast according to your preferences. Room is clean quite well equipped. You’re in jungle, you should expect there are insects and bugs around. "

"What a great surprise! Orbitz had to relocation us because the first hotel had a problem with our reservation. The hotel was right in the jungle with access to the beach a few feet away. Very clean and comfortable property without the craziness of Limon or Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica. Very Private and safe. Also, Julian and Javier (hotel staff) were very welcoming."

"The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. It is walkable to Cahuita although a couple more min out of the way than some of the other hotels, wasn’t a problem to walk to the beach, park or city though. Overall safe, comfortable, and friendly, I would recommend a stay here especially if you want easy access to sloths and wildlife out your front door"
