If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to Sarimsakli Beach— one of the most popular seaside spots located 0.4 mi (0.7 km) from central Sarimsakli. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Badavut Beach.
"Extremely friendly and welcoming, clean, with an exceptional breakfast, even by the great Turkish breakfast standards. The only downside was that the WiFi does not work in the rooms, only in the common areas."
"To start with the room was not what we booked, we booked a sea view room and ended up with a street view room!
The electricity key was broken, it was a challenge to put the key in to have the electricity to work.
Was quite noisy as well.
The smell from the toilet was disgusting, we told the receptionist but as they didn't speak English, they didn't do anything about it!
The hotel is really old and can benefit from some modernisation and maintenance.
To be honest the property is not worth the price we paid, I would not book it again and advise against it."
"The breakfast is fabulous lots to choose from . Hotel presented beautifully. Accomodating staff . Rooms spacious and clean . A little old but good value for money and in a great spot . Good for parking . "
"A lovely boutique hotel in Cunda within walking distance to the marina, restaurants, market. Parking across the street. Delicious Turkish breakfast with generous serves. Staff were friendly and courteous. The standard room was a little small but comfortable. I’m sorry I don’t speak Turkish to thank them for our short but enjoyable stay. Cunda is quiet and relaxing away from the busy-ness of Ayvalik and a short distance further if thinking about a stopover. Make sure you go to Tas Kahve for Turkish coffee or gelato and watch the coffee beans being ground by a handsome Turkish man lifting a 33 kg weight!"
"My stay was magical. Kocukkoy is an ideal city for relaxing, people watching and dining. The relaxing trip was highlighted by staying at the lalekar hotel. It is a great location to base your visit. The staff and owners know everyone in town so are very helpful with directing you to the best food, drink and entertainment. The photos and descriptions of my room did not do it justice. The hand made bed and pillow covers as well the antique sewing table completed the room so well. It was fun getting to know the staff at the evening get together and at the very comfortable breakfast. "
