I can’t recommend Gaja Rooms highly enough. Even before arriving, the owner, Demet, was incredibly helpful with tips and advice. The place feels newly refurbished; the rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished, and I only regret staying for just one night. The location is ideal—set in a very quiet part of the old town, yet perfectly placed for exploring the city and easily reaching great restaurants, cafés, and pubs. I stayed at Gule Hotel at Cunda Island on September 21, 2022. It was an excellent stay, felt like staying at a friend’s house. Hotel was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Most impressive were the staff, foremost Ms. Sehnaz, who is the proprietor together with her husband. She was always ready to help to make the guests’ experience perfect. She was always kind, courteous, graceful and never without a genuine smile. I am sure I will be back for a longer vacation.
