If seeing the sights is on your list of things to do, head to Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista— just one of the landmarks located 2.3 mi (3.7 km) from central Maggia.
"This hotel was fantastic! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and they even made sure our furry friend was welcome. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the parking fee, which was a bit steep, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Thanks 😊"
"I stayed two nights at this hotel. My room was a bit different than advertised. I had a skylight and a portal, so the room was large but a bit dark and with no view other than the sky. The furniture was a bit dated, but in good shape and the bed was comfortable, although the desk in my room was a bit damaged (laminate missing). However, the bathroom was newly renovated and very upscale which was nice. It was great to have a nice hot shower to soothe the muscles after hiking. Breakfast was also great--much better than I expected. Highly recommend paying the extra money. Finally, a bonus! The hotel comes with the Ticino pass, and I made excellent use of this. Overall, I would 100% stay again but would request a different room. "
"Ultra modern hotel with great self-check in. Good communication via WhatsApp with the hotel. Very new and modern facilities with great views of the mountains. Lovely shower. Just 2 minutes walk from the railway station."
"We have eaten at their restaurant many times in the past and thought how nice it would be to stay the night. The hotel is a typical Italian 3 star. The room was spotlessly clean, excellent shower, electric fan, kettle and mini bar. There were cans of mineral water in the mini bar but no price list. They cost €2 each! Something I found annoying was it cost €10 to park in the hotel car park! Some on line listings say that parking is free. Most annoying is that the restaurant menu is so limited. Only about 3 choices for each course. We were very disappointed as were others staying at the hotel as we saw many of them in the restaurant we chose to eat at. This is, apparently, something new!
Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy. The only negative is the fruit juice. "
