"Hotel with a lot of character. Very pleasant experience. Close to sites and city has great tram system. Taxis horribly expensive which has nothing to do with hotel. Due to rain did not get to use terrace which looked enticing. Excellent. a/c. Comfortable room."

"Superb hotel in every way. For us, the ideal location, lovely and quiet and a short walk from central Zagreb. Our room was very clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, very good quality, and beautiful presented. Kate, the lady who prepares breakfast also bakes a variety of wonderful pastries on a daily basis. All of the staff were superb. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend the hotel to our family and friends."

"The room we had was really good. We paid extra for a balcony room and glad we did. It was modern and clean. The only thing we would say is there was no kettle or tea/coffee making facility which would have been nice. There was plenty of storage space as we were only staying a couple of nights. "

"The hotel is not close to the city center (it's a 20' ride to Zagreb's main attractions) but it is in a commercial zone surrounded by malls that you can walk to with plenty of shopping and dining options. Our room was modern, spacious and there was plenty of light. The mattress was sturdy and comfortable. It had a mini fridge though no microwave. The bathroom had a shower and some toiletries. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the pool and it did not disappoint. Our son enjoyed it very much. It had a very relaxed ambience and there was only one other person beside us. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant but we did not use it. Breakfast was great. There were plenty of cold and warm options to choose from and quality was great. Staff was friendly. We asked in the bar for some ice and they had no problem giving us some."

"The Hotel Garden in Zagreb was a wonderful experience. The beds were firm, but not unforgivingly hard as in most European hotels. The staff was the real jewell of the hotel. They were pleasant, kind and helpful in so many ways. The hotel is in a great location with ready access to the tram system, and easy to walk to most of the sites downtown. The breakfast was ample and had sufficient variety with nice pastries."
