Perfect quality hotel. The building and the rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff if helpful and friendly. I don't know how it is in high season but in September it was excellent for the price. Highly recommended! The only negative thing is that it is quite tedious to find the place especially the parking...
Great hotel that isn't far from Trieste. Parking is for free on the street, but if you arrive in the evening parking is available very close. Room was cozy and will stay here again in the future.
Very good. Enjoyed our quick stay in the hotel’s traditional rooms. Breakfast was amazing and delish. Loved the white chandelier ballroom. Did not have time to use the spa. Instead we walked to Piran and enjoyed the beautiful Adriatic views with the alps on the horizon.
The staff at check in was great. the room was excellent. the casino was an added attraction for my cousin. The food could have been somewhat fresher; the waitstaff was a bit rough. We spoke english/spanish .. they did little to be supportive.

Lovely boutique hotel with a fantastic restaurant, and just 6 rooms.
We were unsure what time we would arrive, so opted not to reserve dinner, but were kindly accommodated when we arrived after our long drive.
The owners welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed a gourmet 4 course menu for dinner.
The patio is a lovely place to relax, and the room was very clean and comfortable, with high-end fittings.
Highly recommend for a great meal and luxurious stay!
We loved our stay here - however did not realize it was so far out of town. DO NOT book here unless you have a car, it is really difficult with public transportation. If you just want to relax at the hotel or hike nearby it would be fine, but if you want to go back & forth to Trieste, find another place or bring a car.
