Incredible resort. From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking and very well maintained. It has multiple pools and dining options. The food was very good with lots of options. It was a good decision chooosing to stay out of the City of Funchal and stay at this charming hotel with tranquil atmosphere that i feel well rested during my 4 night stay. The Staff were very friendly especially at the Restaurant, clean and spacious room, comfy bed, and it's also a big plus with Restaurant: serving good and traditional food. The breakfast buffet offers good choices of fresh fruits, fresh bread sortiments, home-made jam and their tasty omelet is never to miss.

This is our go to hotel when flying out of Madeira Island. Staff is extremely accommodating. Although we left for the airport at 3 AM, we were provided with a boxed breakfasts. It is only about a 10 minute cab ride to the airport and runs around 10 euros. Perfect and convenient.
The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.
I really really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean and quiet and served my needs perfectly. Hotel staff was able to arrange for a rental car for me when I arrived to the hotel. Free parking was very limited but, I was always able to find paid street parking not far from the hotel. So not really a big deal.

It was lovely fine days full of comfort from the always helpful stuff, gorgeous garden to walk and relax in, and a marvelous cliff overlooking the marina and sea of Funchal. The balcony/terrace was south oriented - full of flowers in pots, with a sunshade, table and chairs - lovely place to take a glass in the evening.
The only small minus was a bit of possible noise from neighbour's room, but that wasn't a problem, rather just a notice.
The location was very convenient for trips to both the coast and inside of the island, a straight shot from the airport but still quiet, safe and secluded. The property was sparkling clean, including grounds and swimming pools. 24 hrs front desk, quickly responsive to requests such as extra patio chair or ironing equipment. Plenty of lounge chairs available with or without sunshade around the immaculately clean pools. Food variety at each meal included vegetarian, gluten and lactose free...
