The room was very nice and comfortable, beach and dining just a few minutes' walk away. The owner was helpful and gave us transport for an extra fee which made catching our return flight the nest day way less stressful.
Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! I would (and already have) recommend it to a friend. The hotel is in a great area of Nea Makri, with nice shops, a beautiful port and lively...

Chose because they provided airport transportation for our night in Athens. Lovely setting especially with room looking to the sea. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely seaside walking in the evening.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay the entire 4 days we were there for. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the receptionist, Evi, who while we were staying there she was very helpful, hospitable, etc. She was absolutely amazing and we appreciate everything about her and hope to stay at this property again soon. The other reviews and tour guides said it well - gorgeous and relaxing setting, great porch next to the sea for breakfast every morning, very very helpful and friendly staff (everyone seemed like they could have been the owner). Rooms basic, though with great views of the sea! We would definitely stay again if we were ever there.
The host waited for us until 1:30 am arriving from the airport. The appartment has everything you need. You must go through one bedroom to reach the other, but it was fine for our purposes as a family. Highly recommend.
We were looking for an affordable place to stay for a night near Athens airport and chose this location for price and because it was in the beach town. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality, cleanliness and value of the property. It is walkable to shops and restaurants and very convenient. Would love to stay again next time we are in Athens.
