Hotel Sumratin

"We stayed for 8 nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is new, modern and in a good location. Our room had a lovely balcony, and the air conditioning throughout the hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with a fantastic selection and everything you could imagine. The rooftop pool area is also lovely, with a bar and restaurant. The food was very good, although service could be quite slow as the same staff seemed to serve both the pool and restaurant. Drinks were expensive and unfortunately the beer was never properly cold. The concierge service was disappointing. We asked about day trips and boat tours but were mainly told that everything would require a full day. We eventually booked independently outside the hotel and found options that suited us much better. The sauna is great, but having to book it in advance was frustrating. Reception told us it was fully booked one day, but when we went directly to the spa, it was actually empty and we were able to use it. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and breakfast, but the service and organisation could be improved."

"It’s a modern or very recently updated property. Everything is clean and modern looking, not to mention stylish. The breakfast was delicious with many delicious choices without being wasteful. The highlight, however, has to be the incredible friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff. Everyone made us feel totally at home and when we needed help with planning a tour, Ines was so happy to help us. The hotel is close to the port and many city buses. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby as well as convenience stores."

"Great breakfast, clean rooms, there is a pool but its very popular. It's about a 20 minute walk to old town. There's a concierge on site to help you book tours or help with any questions."

"Spa is amazing and can’t believe more isn’t made of it on their website. Breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. Really comfy beds. Loved being able to jump into the sea directly from the cliff by the pools of the hotel. Only downside was, I left a couple of items behind and, when I enquired with the hotel a couple of hours after we left, they claimed there was nothing there when it definitely was."

"The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the Old Town by bus and opposite a beautiful pebble beach. The customer service in the hotel is exceptional, staff are so polite, welcoming and attentive to your needs. The cocktails in the upstairs bar are amazing, only equalled by the view from the same! Hotel Kompas make your stay feel so special, thank you so much!!"
