This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. This place was so relaxing and comfortable for the one night stay we did. The resturant was amazing and the only issue we had was some loud guests late night especially as this is a very quite and calm place.
Kathrin was so helpful and kind! I brought my aunt and uncle and the 1 bedroom suite was perfect - the sofa bed was super comfortable for me, and I’m a picky tall gal! Literally the only wish would’ve been for feather pillows (comforter was down), but we also didn’t inquire. The offer was there to dial in bed stiffness, which we didn’t need. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh! And espresso drinks on offer as well
We absolutely loved this quaint, charming hotel. Wonderful location on a lake and withing easy walking distance from the city center. Very friendly staff. We asked for and received room with view of the water. We couldn't have been any more pleased with our stay and hated to leave.
Within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof and to the old city. Very clean, friendly and wonderful breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very convenient if you plan to just spend a day in Lubeck.
The two twin beds were Murphy beds pulled down from the bureau. Once pulled down, there was very little space in the room with supports we had to be careful to not stub our toes on. The bathroom, however had a lot of space! The breakfast was wonderful!

I found this hotel totally by accident, and we found it to be an exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was huge and varied, with both items for a typical German breakfast, and eggs, bacon and sausage, if one prefers something more American style.
