"The hotel was not as advertised on the hotels.com website. Did not know there would be a self check-in with no idea what to do upon arrival. Fortunately, there were people coming out of the hotel and this enabled us to get into the locked lobby. Otherwise, we would have been left stranded outside with no communication or direction. The reported instructions for how to access this hotel came 90 minutes after we were already heading up to our rooms. As we stood in the lobby trying to figure out how to check in with no staff, it became very frustrating. When we reached someone on the lobby desk phone, we were then put on hold for 25 minutes. This caused more frustration. Had we known this was an unstaffed hotel, we would have chosen some other location. Fortunately, for others who were also having the same experience and didn't know how to access an unstaffed hotel, we were also coming out of the lobby, and kindly let them in so they could go through the experience we just had. You even had to make your own room key. Rooms were good, but overall, not a good experience after a day of traveling."
"We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our trip to the French Alps. The reception staff was kind and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. There were some police fences blocking the road to the hotel, which made reaching the parking area a bit challenging, but this was, of course, not the hotel's fault.
Our room was a little small but very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The overall hotel décor is modern, charming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a pleasant atmosphere."
