"Maison Abaka is an oasis in a chaotic city. It has a lovely location, right on the beach, overlooking Mgor Island. It also has some very nice decks with chairs around a tiny pool and overlooking the sea. The rooms were good, with all that one needs to be happy. They are not luxurious but they are comfortable and clean with good showers and decent air con. The hotel is tucked down a dirt lane (with lots of garbage) in a residential area full of people... so it can be a bit noisy sometimes. That didn't bother us but could be too much for some guests. The breakfasts are underwhelming."
