"Arrived at the property after travelling for over 2 hours for a 2 night stay, there was a sign on the desk stating the boiler had broken and there was no hot water. They had known about this for over 24 hours and had not got in touch so we could make alternate arrangements. Due to this we, and the late notice we could not find anywhere else. They also stated they could not give us a refund and this would have to be done through Expedia so we would not of had the money to stay somewhere else anyway. The staff were very nonchalant and care free regarding this and could not answer why we had not been updated earlier, they did not try and help us in any way."

"Overall a pleasant stay. The resort itself is clean and grounds are well maintained. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, although really spacious very tired and in need of updating. 2 ring induction hob /fridge no freezer but adequate for our needs. Pub on site friendly and welcoming but no restaurant facility. Pool gets busy very quickly and sauna was out of action, a chill weekend and good base for exploring the area, probably wont return"

"I can’t recommend Aberdunant Hall enough, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in April 2026 for our wedding anniversary, unfortunately our son was taken ill whilst we were visiting, so we spent a lot of time at local hospitals getting him treated. "Lovely accommodation but a barking dog waking you in the morning isn’t what need on Easter Sunday. Great food but waiting an hr for simple breakfast to be served is silly "
