"The Inn was in good order, the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our evening meal was good and the choices available were good. The room was clean and tidy although small. The wash basin was inconveniently small and we were unable to get hot water out of the tap ; we ran it for a long time but it remained stubbornly cold! I resorted to boiling the kettle so that I could shave. The hot water supplied to the shower was okay. The Saturday night entertainment was very loud and appeared to be directly below our room, which was unfortunate."

"We had a very lovely stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, highly recommend eating here. Room was a very good size & so was bathroom. Shower had good pressure. Nothing to complain about, we just found the bed was a little too soft for us as we prefer a firm mattress & was rather squeaky when you moved. There are building works going on at the moment outside but that did not impact our stay and it's all to improve the property so can only be a good thing. We would stay here again."
