"After a very long drive, the peace & quiet of Manor Views was very much appreciated. Our room had a deck with outdoor furniture & long distance views over the lakes & hills.
We were greeted on arrival & shown to our room by our host who gave us a run through of the room & secuity.
The room was clean & cosy with everything we needed including a very comfy bed.
No hesitation recommending Manor Views to any travellers.

"The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings.
Our meals, prepared by the master chef, Franz were as good as we have experienced in any restaurant . Only the finest ingredients selected by him. Presented beautifully with attention to detail and creating wonderfully unique taste combinations.
We cannot recommend Te Karaka Lodge highly enough for that special get away in the country.

"This is an old pub, the owners are fixing up rooms and renting them. They were friendly, but this is not a regular hotel. We were there on New Years Eve, and there was a DJ and loud party until well into the new year. Room was small, with no shower. We had a toilet, but had to go out into hallway to get to a shared shower. "
