10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay the weekend of May 15th-17th, 2026. Our group had 5 rooms. Each one of us had a marvelous stay! We did not use the spa or pool. We enjoyed walking the grounds, hearing the snap and crackle of the fires that were burning outside, and the delicious breakfast every morning. The staff were so helpful and gracious. They were wonderful to have the Montreal-Buffalo game playing for those who wanted to watch it. Chloe at the front desk was on top of everything we asked of her. Ophelie was a star in the dining room. If you plan to work--think again--you shouldn't since it is so beautiful. If you have to, the internet is not the strongest there. The shower (waterfall and handheld) had great temperature and power. The beds were SO COMFY! I wish I had more time be in the bed! We would definitely come back at another time of year for a longer stay. The surrounding area is gorgeous! Thank you all!"

"The room smelled like unwashed person so they opened the windows. That caused the room to be cold. The heat was controlled by them and it took a long time for the room to warm up. I texted for another blanket but did not receive one. It was above a bar (pub), but I still fell asleep, only to be awaken after 10:00 when the music volume was turned up to blasting. At 11:00 it suddenly became very quiet but I was unable to return to sleep. I had to wake up at 5:30 am. I lost time because I had to pull over and sleep in the car because I couldn’t stay awake. There was no television, sink or bathroom attached to the room. Bathroom next door. I thought it was too expensive and should have noted this in the description. The bed was comfy, although smelly. I don’t know where the stink emanated from, because the sheets seemed ok. The bathroom was warm but I still didn’t want to take a shower in there."
