A real taste of rural Catalonia. Near the beach and a short drive to the mountains. Great food, great staff/owners, plenty of room for kids to play. The best part was that it is the main place of activity in the town. The locals partook in the pool, playground, and the restaurant. Great times.

Hotel Restaurant Sausa provides excellent value for money spent. The room was very clean with a refrigerator and a large bathroom with wall-in shower. It is not fancy, but it met our needs. There is a nice big pool and an on site restaurant, but we did not utilize either. This is a convenient base for day trips to Girona, Figueres, Besalu, and the Mediterranean coastal towns.
Great location and easy parking behind the hotel. Beautiful views from my room and the breakfast was good with plenty of options.

This is a relatively no-frills hotel but it is in excellent condition and immaculately clean. The location is central and an easy walk anywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the bed was very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

The location made for a lovely walk into town! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Free parking and an AMAZING breakfast and large rooms made this hotel a winner!
We just spent two wonderful days and nights at Can Miquel in L'Escala. The hotel is simple and clean and is located right next to the shore. It has a very nice pool if you get tired of the beach. There is also an excellent restaurant. I highly recommend staying there.
The hotel was wonderful - comfortable, clean, attractive, elegant and inviting. The staff was welcoming, and most helpful. We were made to feel like invited guests, and were sorry to leave. Our time was limited, so we were unable to take advantage of the wonderful looking spa, the beautiful pool, or the tennis courts (2). This was a resort , not a mid-town hotel, so the location was quiet, and not near stores etc. A lovely buffet breakfast was included. The dining room was available for lunch...
Yolanda was super friendly and helpful, we spoke French which was easier for her to understand, but her English was much better than our Spanish, LOL. So, our Franglais was a good compromise. She gave us a map of Figueres and offered us tips on where it is safer to walk, and where it was safer to take a taxi (average 12€ - 15€) to all locations around town. It cost around 14€ to go from the train station to Ibis Styles Ronda. Overall, the check-in experience was very helpful and professionally...
We were very pleased with this property. It was clean and quiet. The staff gave us a map and explained how to get downtown for sightseeing and shopping. We had on site parking which was important to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Girona and would like to return and spend more time.
