The property is neat and clean because of Sue( Manager of B& B) she is very client oriented and makes your stay special. It smells delightful, pet friendly, is decorated for the holidays, always snacks available! Sue made my trips through Honesdale comfortable & pleasant ….my only comment ( neg) - I have stayed in room 4 for the past 3 years. The only available outlet ( the one adjacent to bathroom doesn’t work, the other outlets are inaccessible) is over the sink and operated by the wall...
Ended up with an alternate room in the main house! Very clean and comfortable! Staff asked if we would be willing to take a non pet friendly room instead of the one we originally booked! My girl being a pet lover said that we would accommodate the room swap ! You’re welcome by the way!!! To whom ever we accommodated ! Hope they and their pets were as comfortable as my fiancee and myself!!!!!!!!
Super high-end rooms, great touches, grounds were lovely, main building was quaint but totally updated. Clean neat, they thought of everything for a guest. We will be finding an excuse to visit again.
I took my son skiing to Elk Mountain and booked a room for one night. I was very happy with all aspects of the Hotel. Room was clean and in great condition, not run down at all. Roomy well appointed, functional. I had supper at their restaurant; chicken parmesan. Service was so fast I hardly had time to eat the free bread roll. The salad was fresh but a bottle dressing. The chicken parm. was good with a good sauce, and more than I could eat. The bed was firm but comfortable. Service was fast and...
Beautiful quiet setting. Stayed in the Barn in the Beach Boys suite. It was beautiful, spacious, well-kept and very comfortable. Bed was great. AC, wifi and bathroom were terrific. Would definitely stay there again if I am in the areas.
We stayed for our annual anniversary trip and as always, the resort did not disappoint. Ordered take out from KC Pepper, food was delicious and portions were big. The staff is always so welcoming. The property is perfect for a quick getaway, so peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Can’t wait to book again for next year!

The restaurant and bar are fabulous, including the staff. They both deserve a full 5-star rating. The weekday we were there, both were crowded. The lobby and our room, although very clean, need attention, especially the carpet. We would love to dine there again and hope they pay more attention to the deficiencies in the lobby and Room 1.

America, the owner of this bed and breakfast property, and her family were all very sincere and helpful. Comfortable outdoor chairs surround an outdoor fire pit, which makes for great night time conversations. Staying in the plush king bed suite equipped with a microwave and refrigerator allowed us to keep food we travel with fresh and handy. The WiFi connection was strongest late at night or early in the mooning. During the day, as more guests use WiFi, the connection begins to slow down....
