"SUPER friendly and accommodating staff. I made my booking earlier in the day but it hadn’t come through their system they totally took me in and showed me to my room right away. It was spacious and the hot water worked. Very close to the base of the Adam’s Peak hike so can start the hike from the hotel’s doorstep. Had a wonderful breakfast on their outdoor porch after my hike. I’d recommend this hotel to any travelers visiting the Sri Pada area. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. "A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. "Firstly, I booked this on Hotels.com and paid 'up front'. We arrived at the hotel and found out they do NOT work with Hotels/Expedia. They had no booking, not would honor what I had paid. They did have two rooms and we paid for them. Then we found out it was a 'love motel' and pay-by-the-hour for hookups. This property should be removed from selection on Hotels.com. Damn!"
