"This is our 3rd annual visit. A lovely, less "touristy" NJ shore, right across the street from the beach with a quiet victorian feel. Beach badges, towels, chairs, umbrellas provided. Fantastic restaurant on first floor. Staff and especially the general manager were just great. "

Grows: The weekend breakfast was weak (different guy running it on 1/31 and 2/1), wanted housekeeping on Saturday and did not get it. Still a good stay and I would definitely go back."

"The hotel itself was historic however, the rooms were all updated and functional. The beds were comfortable and linens were quality, I took note that the shower was roomy and the waterflow was substantial which you rarely find in other hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful and recommended area restaurants and venues. The in-house restaurant was nice and staff was friendly. Parking was a bit challenging at times but I was able to eventually find a spot. Overall it was a nice experience and...
