"The state park lodge was very convenient for visiting the Cumberland Water falls and take the water rafting activity. The complimentary breakfast was really helpful as we rushed out to hiking in the morning . Would have preferred some boiled eggs or scrambled eggs for breakfast but bagels , bread and coffee were great to start the day for our family of 4. Would recommend for anyone looking to visit Cumberland falls "

"I’ve stayed here before so know the hotel pretty well. The pool was closed for maintenance, which I can’t fault them or the site for, and even though it was one of the main reasons for picking this hotel it didn’t make much difference to our trip. The hotel still has the old name on the sign, which threw me for a moment, but the picture is the same. The rooms need a little bit of work but for what we needed it was good."
