Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. The floors, made of black polished concrete, were a constant source of frustration as stepping out of the shower inevitably resulted in blackened feet.

"Basic accommodations, didnt look like the photos. Less of a hotel bit like staying in someone house. Mold around shower and ok room for a quick overnight stay. 20 min walk to restaurants though. Bed comfy. "

Room is large, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. "We are cyclists from Australia and travelling the world now for 5 years. Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff were amazing and accommodating. We were able to safely store our two bicycles which was important to us. The pool and spa was great, had a lovely massage. The gym had everything we needed. Great breakfast and close to restaurants for evening meals."
