"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. The bed in the second bedroom is on the floor, which isn't a bad thing considering this is an authentic experience,...

"Very quiet area and convenient for transportation and shopping."

"The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "

"This was the best place we stayed at!!! It wasn’t fancy like a high end hotel, but the unit was HUGE!!!!…an apartment!!! It had a kitchen a medium size refrigerator with an actual freezer & the best part, a washing machine in your apartment that you don’t have to pay per load!!!!! That in itself for the convenience of actually having that in your room is AMAZING!!!! Only a 10 minute easy, flat walk to Kyoto station & down a nice quiet street."

"Sehr schönes Haus mit zwei Stockwerken. Im Erdgeschoss eine nette Küche, Esszimmer und ein klassisch japanisches Bad mit gefließter Badewanne. Im ersten Stock zwei Schlafzimmer. Ein 7eleven und Lawson in Lauf Nähe. Zwei Bahnhöfe sind 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Bus Linien zu den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten ca. 5 Minuten entfernt"
