"All I can say is Quirky! Room was huge, shower fantastic, great Bluetooth sound system, 80 inch tv. The location for me was good. Only real negative was the lack of a window. The eclectic lighting was interesting, sort of a nightclub/bordello effect. The clientele didn’t seem sleazy, the only other guests I saw were young Brazilian couples "

The area is pretty sketchy, especially at night, lots of homeless and “drogas”. But if you’re on a tight budget it fits the bill perfectly. "Rooms requires refurbishment. It seems like all the furniture are from the 80s or older. All is clean tho. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and delicious options. Breakfast restaurant meets 4 star hotel standards. "

"It's not the safest area in São Paulo, but it's close to República Metro Station. From there you can go anywhere (once you understand the subway map). Important to day: It is an old hotel. DO NOT expect modern things in your room, but it is clean and cheap. I love their staff."
