"This is a nice property in a very convenient location, close to False Creek and the Aquabus. It’s also a short walk to English Bay and the Vancouver beaches. The staff were very courteous and efficient. The rooftop common kitchen is a nice touch, though I did not have time to use it. The rooms have a bit of wear and tear but are comfortable and mostly up-to-date. Granville Street to the north can be a little sketchy but it’s still a safe neighbourhood in a very safe city. "Hotel could use some inexpensive modern updates, but it’s otherwise perfectly comfortable and good value for downtown Vancouver. The surrounding area is a mix of things, but it’s a short walk or Yaletown and close access to False Creek to take the harbour bus to Granville Island."
