"Parking was a bit of an issue, but manageable. Staff was excellent, both at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Don't miss the outdoor garden with the heated seats/bench, a lovely spot. The proximity to so many of the things which make SF special was amazing. Shopping, eats, bars (The Page and Gigis both stand out), Golden Gate Park, the fun SF vibe all made the trip and stay memorable. We'll be back to stay at the Metro! "

"We chose this hotel for its affordable price and location just half a mile from the Convention Center. The Marker has great style - two lovely sitting rooms with fireplaces on the first floor and a great bar and restaurant. The staff were really kind and well informed about the city, including mass transit. I took great walks from here to Fisherman’s Ward and several museums and interesting neighborhoods. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use any of the amenities since there was plenty to do outside. The breakfast was buffet-style and very convenient."
