"It is a good hotel but is not a good option to international visitors. In all the hotel just the people of front desk speak English or Spanish. The rest of the people in the hotel just speak Portuguese and it is terrible to try to communicate with them to any request."

"Rooms requires refurbishment. It seems like all the furniture are from the 80s or older. All is clean tho. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and delicious options. Breakfast restaurant meets 4 star hotel standards. "

"It's not the safest area in São Paulo, but it's close to República Metro Station. From there you can go anywhere (once you understand the subway map). Important to day: It is an old hotel. DO NOT expect modern things in your room, but it is clean and cheap. I love their staff."

The area is pretty sketchy, especially at night, lots of homeless and “drogas”. But if you’re on a tight budget it fits the bill perfectly.
