"This place is for people who want a real local vibe. The rooms are simple but clean. For the price it’s an incredible deal. The captain’s view in front of the house is hard to beat. Paps is a retired tuna captain and it appears his family runs the place. He’s always out front chewing betel nut and keeping an eye on his water. Does not get more local than this. "The manager of the place was super friendly and helpful! They helped me with everything from scooter booking, ferry tickets, activity booking. Highly recommended! "

"Room was huge and ours had sea view (it was also facing the street, thankfully it wasn’t noisy). It’s a cosy place with scooter parking right in front of the property and a couple of good dining options around. Kudos to the staff (I think she’s also the owner) for notifying us that transport out of the island was cancelled due to typhoon on the day we planned to depart. That heads-up gave us time to change our ferry ticket to a day earlier."
