"We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great. Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence. (Ask Carlo about his motorcycle collection.) "Stayed in Pistoia due to the high prices in Florence, lovely place in its own right. Property was about 10 minutes from the station and very well presented with excellent en suite facilities - wouldn't hesitate to recommend."

She didn’t really understand that we had a problem in our room.(Our neighbor keep smoking in his bathroom, so our bathroom was also stinking of cigarettes) The pool area is very clean and nice to visit, but the traffic around is a little noisy."
