"We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

"This is my goto for stays in Koblenz. Yea, its like a 20 min drive...but it is worth it! The rooms have been upgraded since the last time I was here. They look great. The breakfast buffet is just as I remember it...legendary. The surroundings are serene. Leave your window open and fall asleep to the babbling brook. Never hit the spa yet, but it looks comprehensive. Maybe next time! "

"A historic and picturesque place beautifully located in a parc on a hill with lovely views. Spacious single room w nice view, marvellous breakfast also offering lots of healthy items and until 11 am on week-ends. Spa area and pool were wonderful and staff was v attentive and kind. Rooms were fine for the price, a bit worn but everything in fine working order, and the bed was good. The hotel has fine parking conditions, easy check in and check out. Room was cleaned every day, and towels changed. The hotel is placed in a pretty cozy area, with many walking paths nearby. Its possible to walk to bendorf city center, but it takes a bit.
