"Friendly welcome from the staff and lovely communal lounge and reception areas. The B&B is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the beach, or 5 minutes into town or to the theatres. The available parking is also a huge bonus. The breakfast had a very good selection and was of high quality. Overall, a lovely B&B and we hope to return sometime."

"Loved this property! While the room was a bit dated, it was nice and comfortable. The common areas were absolutely beautiful and truly grand! Would definitely stay there again! Easy drive to the Seven Sisters Cliffs which were so breathtaking not to mention the beautiful countryside."

"Really amazing hotel, much better than I expected Rooms are very big, high ceiling and right in front of the sea for an amazing sea view . Highly recommended and will use this again. Big thanks to Mark for welcoming us despite us coming very late and the receptionists were super too! "This hotel has recently changed hands and has been refurbished throughout to a good standard. The staff were excellent - friendly and very helpful. The location is really convenient for the beach (which is directly opposite) Devonshire Park Tennis, theatres and Winter Garden - all just a short walk away. Several good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely hotel, our room, although a little dated was a great size, large balcony, wonderful views. We had a full bathroom which was perfect and also plenty of tea, coffee and milk not like a lot of fancy hotels where you just get two milk cartons. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast had a good selection."

"Perfect for a stop over before catching the ferry in Newhaven. With Hotels.com we only paid £26.19 for a double room. Bargain! Round the corner from a great bar, the Bohemian with an excellent DJ set and good vibes. Would stay again, very convenient location and near the sea front. Ample street parking and free after 6pm, can always get a permit from the hotel. Quick easy check on. Room was small but didn’t expect luxury, hot shower but not a ‘power’ shower. Pleasant staff at check in. "
