"A real old world charmer. Room was huge, bathroom ‘in a closet’ was small but comfortable for us. The location perfect for exploring C’burg, Zoo, Ku’damm, etc, etc. 10 minute walk from a main rail and U-bahn hub; 5 minutes from several U-bahn lines. Lovely lobby/dining and cute gifts. The Gasthaus down the street is typically old style Berlin and good food for most every (including vegetarian) tastes. "

"I loved this hotel. It's tucked away into a small side street just off the main street, which does wonders in cutting down the noise. I also didn't realize when booking that this hotel is in the middle of a major shopping hub, which was a nice surprise. The initial reason I chose this hotel was because it was a few feet away from a U-Bahn stop, which made getting around Berlin sooooo much easier for me!
